Hello, My name is Sybil. I currently own an iguana and have previously owned one. I have also owned a box turtle. My iguanas have both been very mean and will attack. I do know of times when iguanas are amasing pets and act as dogs. However, they are known for turning on their owners easily. I love my iguana and my old one (my he rest in peace) but I don't recomend on eif you have a child. My box turtle was an amasing pet. She was easy to take car of and fun to play with. They do not bite and are really cool to have. They also can live to over a hundred years old (which woudl be easier so a child would not have to deal with the death of a pet, that can be very tramatic). I strongly recommend a box turtle. In addition, to add some cretability to my suggestion, I am a PreVet student and have worked at a Vet for over 2 years. I have owned several pets my entire life, I currently own 11. If you have any questions please contact me, i would like to help you in your decision. Syb2@aol.com

Get a Crested GEcko. They are EXTREMELY friendly, small, and easy to take care of. I have 2 myself. They are GREAT little creatures. E-mail me if you have questions.
